Hue is humid as well as Hanoi in July.

I asked Fortuan Hotel staff to take me to Noi Bai Airport, but he said "please pick up a taxi at the street."
When coming to the hotel, there was transfer service from the airport; however, there was no service to the airport on this day.
Since I stayed this hotel for only two nights, I understood without free transfer.
I heard that though my friends stayed three nights, and free airport transfer was mentioned on the confirmation mail; service charge claimed my friends.
Hotel staff was friendly, but they were irresponsible about paperwork.
In addition, meter taxi which I picked up the street cost me 280,000VND (US$17.5).
As compared to coming from the airport, it took a lot of time; taxi driver must have gone the long way around.
Because taxis generally cost about US$10 between Noi Bai Airport and Old Quarter.

Thuan An Beach

Hue city from Phu Bai Airport can be mainly accessed by airport buses （30,000VND=US$2) or ticket taxis (100,000VND=US$6.25).
Airport buses are operated by Vietnam Airlines, and they run between the airport and Vietnam Airlines office in the city.
Buses depart after arriving flights and leave the city about two hours before departures.
If you are planning to stay hotel near the VN office, it would be better to take a bus.
However, Hue is humid as well as Hanoi in July, taxis are reasonable transportation, I guess.
I used hotel transfer service, it was unconvincing that its cost was double price to taxis.

I applied for Hue city tour on the following day at the hotel, and then I went to go swimming to the beach.
My destination was Thuan An Beach where Japan's guide book mentioned, hotel staff said chartered taxi cost was US$25 for round trip and waiting.
It makes easy profit for them, I guess.
But I could go there by neither cycling nor walking.
The beach is distance of fifteen kilometers from Hue city, I wish I could have hire a motorbike taxi.

Health Club De Nhat (30 Chu Van An, Hue - Tel: 054-834646)

After I came back from the beach, I went to Health Club De Nhat located close to Ngoc Huong Hotel.
Jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath are available before getting a massage in the health club.
The time for foot massage is 45 minutes and it costs 100,000VND (US$7); meanwhile, the time for body massage is 60 minutes and it costs 120,000VND (US$8). You can also pay in US dollar.
I took a steam bath and shower, then getting a foot massage. It was very comfortable.
I would come here, and then leave for Japan.
