My Advice	From the Hotel Phoenix to Geneva Cornavin station, you can take a bus No. 10 in front of the hotel. Tickets, which cover both trams and buses, must be bought from ticket machines (located at every stop) before boarding the transport. There are mainly three type of the tickets as following. Tickets cost 3SF for one hour with unlimited changes on tram, bus, boat, and rail within greater Geneva, 7SF for a pass valid from 9 a.m. to midnight, and 10SF for a 24-hour pass valid from the time it is purchased.

My Advice	From Ajaccio airport, bus line 8 takes about 20 minutes to get to the city center. Taxi cost you about 25EUR. Without vehicles, you should book the hotel in surrounding area of the port or SNCF station because other accommodations are inconveniently located to the heart of the city. In September and October, the tourist office opens from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sundays. It is located in the airport and near the port. Restaurants in the island usually serve jug of water (carafe de l'eau), which is tap one and free of charge.
