Balinese peddlers vs Japanese tourists

  This tour was a private tour with Japanese speaking guide and he took me to Barong Dance Show at Batubulan, Celuk, Mas and then Kintamani in the morning by car.
In Kintamani, there was a lot of tourists and many peddlers came close to them.
Most of peddler was a woman and they also attempted to sell hard something to me.
Their sales talk was "Zenbu-de-sen-en!" (means "1,000Yen in all"), of course, even ten T-shirts were 1,000Yen in total.
It would have given me good value for my money if I had come in group, however, I might not have done without buying extra goods.
Therefore we dropped at Bangli and Ubud on our way back from Kintamani.
Unfortunately, I couldn't take a good picture each sightseeing place very well.
Well, I didn't have any choice, right?
Finally, travelers are usually led in souvenir shops on such a package tour, needless to say you should bargain.
Therefore you can sometimes pay in 500 Japanese Yen coin when buy sometiong.
Some Balinese said, "I get some Japanese to change two 500 Yen coin for 1,000 Yen bill."
There is so many Japanese tourists here, right?

Here's just like a private beach, right?

  Nusa Dua Beach was deserted, unlike Kuta Beach where I heard a lot of peddlers come close to visitors many times.
I sometimes came across beachboys, but they aimed for Japanese girls.
After all, here is in front of where high class hotels stand side by side, young guests seem to hardly come here except Japanese.
That is good to get away from bustling with peddlers, but you might visit other place if you like where beach is bustling with visitors.

  My friend said "Garuda Indonesia Airways is often delayed or canceled suddenly, hence, ticket holders must reconfirm your reservation even domestic flight."
It would be better to ask a guide to reconfirm your reservation when you join a local package tour, on the other hand you should ask a staff to do it if you stay high class hotel.
Therefore it was lucky that all flights which I boarded were right on schedule, but if any flight had been canceled, I wouldn't have know what I should do.

  By the way, some Indonesian food suit Japanese taste.
For example, it is sate ayam (chicken satay=skewered grilled chicken), nasi goreng (fried rice), bahmi goreng (fried noodles) and so on.
If you would like to have a meal at a low price, you might go downtown.
Of course you must take care of soft drinks with ice except high class restaurants.

sightseeing in Jakarta by chauffer-driven car

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah	Bird Park

  Unfortunately, there seems to be almost nothing to see in city of Jakarta.
As for myself, thanks to Jakarta-based my friend, he took me for sightseeing by chauffer-driven car.
However, tourist attraction was only Indonesian miniature park, called Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.
In the afternoon, I felt elegant because I caught some rays at pool of my friend's house, right?
If I can spand such a life, living abroad is not so bad, right?
By the way, it seems to be good to learn foreign language that people get nice dress-clad sexy girls to teach it.
In fact this plan not always came off.

I can manage.

  If you would like go shopping in Jakarta, you must speak Indonesian, I guess.
You may feel Jakarta to be in different country from them because not only English but also Japanese is spoken in Bali Island and Yogyakarta.
Needless to say, without my friend's translation, I might not have bought even a piece of shirt.

  By the way, I booked a hotel for this night at tourist information in Changi airport.
Even I understood staff of tourist information and taxi driver speaking English.
It would be better to get training for elementary English conversation, right?
