Manneken Pis (Brussels)  You might begin to do sightseeing at Grand Place.
Because its surrounding scenery is just like tourist attractions.
The Manneken Pis is a symbol of Brussels and many tourists take a picture of it, but I think you don't need to venture to go there.
You can use the metro, bus and so on as transportation in Brussels, but it would be better to walk if it's clear day.
If it's rainy, it is not so bad to go to any museums.
Because a good many of major European museums are worth seeing, I guess.
By the way, I guess you wish to enjoy many kind of beers at cafe if it's in the summer months.
However, since it turns cool toward evening in September, you might allot the clear daytime to drink.

Bruges is often called "The Venice of the North."
There is a lot of canals in all directions in the city and many of canalboats have full of tourists on board.
It is enough if you do sightseeing on foot, but such guided boat trip is not so bad.
Therefore when we joined boat trip, its tour guide gave information in English, French and Flemish (one of Dutch dialect).
If you would like to use a rental bike for sightseeing, you should make sure of its condition at the tourist information.
I heard passengers can carry bike by train and drop it off at major stations.
Anyway you might take many pictures because Bruges is picture post-card town.
Other my recommended tourist attractions are Belfort (The Belfry) and windmills.
Talking about windmill, Zaanse Schans of Netherlands is well-known, however, Bruges has Sint Janshuismolen (St. Janshuis Mill).
Needless to say, if you get tired of sightseeing, you should drink a beer at cafe.
It is the best, isn't it?

Antwerp Antwerp

Traveling by train is most convenient way in Belgium.
Because most of intercity trains run every 1 hour, they are pretty punctual.
And you can easily make plans for traveling by train because you can usually know time of departure wherever you are in Belgium.

I heard half of September is usually a rainy day here.
I bought an umbrella in Bruges, however, since umbrella is not always available wherever you want on your trip, you should bring a folding one.
Besides you often need to wear windbreaker or sweat shirts because it sometimes turns chilly even September if it rains.
However, if you intend to go southward, you might bring some warm cloths that you don't regret throwing away or giving somebody.
I think you should minimize your pack.
It's cardinal rule on the trip, right?

Antwerp is called "Diamondland" and a place remembered in connection with "A Dog of Flanders."
Highlight of the city is Onze Lieve Vrouw Kathedraal (Cathedral of Our Lady) where there is also Rubens works "The rising of the cross" and "Descent from the cross" in.
We had visited only Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten (Royal Museum of Fine Art) and there, it might have been enough to see works of art.
By the way, you can go sightseeing anywhere on foot, but you might take tram if it rains.
Besides if you have a backpack, you should leave it with coin locker at Antwerp Central station.

Summer time (from last Sunday in March to last Saturday in September) is nearing an end at tonight.
Since we didn't get used to its system, it was strange that we turned our watches back 1 hour before going to bed.
In short, only today is 25 hours a day.
People are likely to work to own advantage, however, there seems to be every possibility of trouble on the following morning unless clocks will be turned back 1 hour automatically.
In such a case it is best way that travelers should take an overnight journey or not move on following day.

You can pay in Japanese Yen coins at Duty Free Shop in C.D.Gaulle Airport, right?

To get to Paris from Brussels takes about 1 hour by air, or else about 2 hours and half by Euro City trains.
In such a case passengers can seldom benefit from flying except connecting flight, however, I flew to Paris because my ticket was free due to additional flight of Sabena.
Otherwise I might have gone to Paris by train until on the preceding day.
But English is spoken in Brussels than Paris, isn't it?

Japanese Yen coins are hardly accepted out of Japan.
If anybody accept one, I remember Balinese accept 500 Yen coin in Bali Island, however, Paris airport seems to be different from other places.
Because somebody could use all Japanese cash at DFS shop where liquors, cigarettes and chocolates were sold.
In addition its shop clerk tell their price in Japanese, as might be expected of Paris where Japanese women hanker for.

Sentosa Island  It is necessary to get adjusted to local time in order to get over jet lag even if you have a hard time.
Hence I went to Sentosa Island in spite of sleepy.
Though it could have been best to go there by MRT and Sentosa bus, I went by taxi and cable car.
Actually, this way might have been the most expensive, I would have thought nothing of it.
Of course it was the best for me to catch some rays at the hotel's rooftop pool, but it was mainly cloudy at that time.

If you would like to get your picture taken on the trip, what do you do?
Do you get traveling companion to take?
What if you travel alone or get all member taken?
In such cases it seems to be easy to ask especially Japanese independent traveler like me to do that.
At least some of non-Japanese travelers seem to think so.
It seems that they also think Japanese seldom steal their camera and many of Japanese are well up in camera.
Actually, in case of Morocco touts had come close to me one after another, but in case of Sentosa I had been asked to take a picture for other tourists one and another.
Finally, I was asked to change a battery of camera.
Did they think what I was at all?

By the way, I would like to inform what attractions she had.
In Sentosa Island, it may be useful for explorer that any of buses, monorail and beach train is free.
Therefore "Sentosa Saver's Package" that I bought was not very good, you might buy a ticket at each attraction.
Because it was not reasonable at all that its price was S$19 (1,330Yen), including return ticket (4 tickets) for cable car.

Because of appreciation of the yen, Japanese overseas tourists had been increasing in the number of men.
Most of international flights arriving in and departing from Japan were full of tourists.
Juliana's Tokyo (disco located at Shibaura in Minato-ku, Tokyo/May 31, 1991-August 31, 1994), J-League (Japanese professional soccer league) and Jurassic Park (movie) were a favorite with young people in Japan.
Many of Japanese didn't feel Japan's economy to be a depression in spite of collapse of the bubble economy.

On the other hand the nation's first full-scale coalition government (Hosokawa Cabinet) in 45 years got off to a good start in August 1993 with unprecedentedly high popularity among the people.
Prime Minister Morihiro Hosokawa fulfilled his promise for political reform and people kept giving high support to Hosokawa Cabinet.
However, money scandal was likely to oust him from his post as was usual in the case of strongmen in the Liberal Democratic Party.
Though it would have been the most important topics of the day in the world that a historic peace agreement between Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and PLO(Palestine Liberation Organization chaiman Yasser Arafat (September 13, 1993) might have brought about peace in the Middle East in future.
Should Japan really change?
