I went to KTMB (Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad) Singapore station located at Tanjong Pagar. Actually, I only reserved
the ticket by E-mail before traveling. After E-mail booking, the following
information was sent. This day I showed it to station clerk and collected
and purchased the ticket for premier night deluxe (first class sleeping
car) and meal coupon for supper and breakfast of the following day. Of
course this payment could have been by credit card through the web site,
but I adopted the safest policy because I had enough time for purchase.
Thank you for selecting KTM Berhad as your choice of travel.

Travelers must notice that the train station usually means MRT's one for the locals; when you ask how to get to KTMB Singapore station
along Keppel Road, you should spread a map and indicate there. Therefore
I stayed M Hotel Singapore where is walking distance to this station.
If you go to Johor Bahru, it would be better to take the train there because
the ticket can be purchased in Malaysian Ringgit, and from Singapore cost
you only S$2.4 by Singapore-Johor Bahru Express Buses.
Further information can be taken by the web site "How to travel by train Singapore-Malaysia-Bangkok." |
