At last we had marked the end
of the long journey for 16 hours since we
leaved from Barcelona.
Then we tried to get a train tickets for
Madrid for day after the next, but AVE (Alta
Velocidad) tickets were not available due
to in demand.
Hence, we were obliged to book a night train
again, but we made sure its tickets were
berth ticket (billete de litera) again and
again.
So, language barrier worried us.
Therefore it seemed to be difficult to get AVE tickets because EXPO '92
Seville had been held then.
To get to Torremolinos from Málaga took about half an
hour by train.
We didn't worry that we missed our station
because there is the bilingual (Spanish and
English) announcement about next station
in the train.
The hotel where we stayed was located in
front of the beach, and there were also sauna
and indoor pool.
Of course front desk clerk could speak English
and there was also a hotel concierge.
We would have used such services if we had
had some experience in staying luxury hotel.
Well, it was wasteful that we didn't use
such services while stayed.
We should have stayed other budget hotels
from the start if we had not had enough time
for using such services, right?

To get to Mijas from Torremolinos takes about half an hour
by bus.
If there is not direct bus service, you should change from train to bus
at Fuengirola.
Mijas is a typical "Andaluz White Villages,"
it would be better to walk around the village
before visiting a bullfighting.
Besides since donkey-taxi is a popular vehicle
here, I suggest you take it.
When you look over the village like that,
you can find that a row of white houses are
glittering with sunshine.
And if you have a spare time, let's try to
eat the cake, called buñuelos, at
any cafe.

Another tourist attraction in
Mijas is a quadrilateral bullring.
Of course unless you visit a bullfighting,
it is not worth while coming here.
Since its ticket is available at a ticket
booth of bullring, you should buy it there.
By the way, if you have a dinner, I suggest
you come back to Fuengirola and then do it.
Because bullfighting begins at 7 in the evening, its duration is 1 hour,
and bus servise for Fuengirola usually end at an early hour for Spainish
buses.
Therefore only drinks (beer, juice and so
on) are available in the bullring.
Hence, if you are likely to feel hungry on
your way back, you should have a light meal
before visiting bullfighting.
Well, if you would like to know about bullfighting,
you might see with your own eyes.
You may get it if do so, right?

Initially, I made plans to visit the Alhambra, Granada or EXPO
'92 Seville too.
But we didn't come to feel like doing so
because of fatigue of traveling.
"Let's also relax in the beach once
a week at least," one of my friends
said.
Of course nobody took objection to his word.
This is Spanish beach resort, called Costa
del Sol, we intended to see nice girls and
eat some seafood with great gusto at chiringuitos
(refreshment stands).
All in all, there was nothing like that,
right?
We stayed luxury hotel in this
region.
Hence, we had a few chance to see sizzlers
differently from Paradise Beach, Mykonos
Island even if we kept laying ourselves down on
the beach in front of this hotel.
There was nothing surprising!
By the way, it was enviable that mature-aged
couple enjoy themselves in the beach.
In Japan, most of mature-aged women hated
wearing bathing suits, and most of men seldom
took a long vacation due to their socially
accepted idea.
We wish we ought to learn a lot from European
life style.
However, we would rather see young girls
than mature-aged women if they are wearing
topless swimsuit.
We don't pretend that it is wrong.
What do you think?
To travel on a sleeper of Limited
express leaving from Málaga was very
comfortable for us.
Because we took a compartment for group and
we were able to have an undisturbed sleep.
Some travel guidebook say that "travelers
should take a coach which can travel with
the locals," however, in case of traveling
by night train is different.
It sank deeply into my mind by traveling
this time.
