How we saw a terrible match!
Saudi Arabia lost four goals in the first half, the game was already well
in Germany's hand.
Since this game was one-sided match, we never got excited about it.
It was said Saudi Arabia is one of powerful team in Asian league; hence
I thought that neither co-hosts, Japan nor South Korea would win in the
Group Matches.
The winner in the Group Matches sometimes get decided by goal difference
(goals for minus goals against), Germany practically advanced to the second
round except for some extraordinary reason by today's win.
The German in Sapporo must not have taken the smile off their face.
And after match, maybe they went to and had the night out in Susukino, which is one of famous Japan's entertainment district in Sapporo.
Susukino has also red light district, right?
By the way, how about us? No worries!
So we had more 2 tickets for Saudi Arabia's matches because of TST (Team Specific Ticket Series).
At least we hoped next match would be worth seeing!
By the way, why happened the ticketing operation problem before opening
the World Cup?
In fact there were quite underoccupied in the stadium beyond expectation,
unsold tickets might have been sold on the day of the match.
I had not believed this match's tickets to be sold out.
As beginning the World Cup, it was reported that there were many unsold
tickets in both the Group Matches and the finals; so it is fresh in our
memories that many soccer fans scrambled to get tickets.
Germany recorded their largest-ever margin of victory in a FIFA World Cup match against Saudi Arabia at the Sapporo Dome in Japan on Saturday. Miroslav Klose’s hat-trick led the way for Germany, who scored four goals in each half in their opening game of the tournament.
The Germans displayed mechanical timing in the first half, producing three headed goals, all to the left of Saudi Arabian goalkeeper Mohammed Al Deayea from left-side crosses. One goal each from Michael Ballack, Carsten Jancker, Thomas Linke, Oliver Bierhoff and Bernd Schneider filled out the scoring. After Saturday afternoon’s 1-1 draw between Ireland and Cameroon, Germany move to the top of Group E.
