A wide gap between English guided tour and Japanese one

Which islands can we go from the Gold Coast by day trip?
Of course there are many beaches near the town, these are good for relaxing; however, I went to North Stradbroke Island called Straddie which was chosen among the K53's recommended places.
South Stradbroke Island and Moreton Island can also be accessed from the Gold Coast, but I went neither of them because the former is typical resort island and the latter is far from K53's house.

By the way, English guided tour of North Stradbroke Island was lower than Japanese one as well as other package tours, except the rafting tour of R&R=The Raft & Rainforest and Raging Thunder Adventures in Cairns.
In case of Beachtrekkers, the former was AU$99 (7,880 Yen), the latter was AU$135 (10,700 Yen), according to Best of the Gold Coast.
So if we're lucky at some tourist attractions which are popular among especially Japanese, though I/we join English guided tour, I/we can receive Japanese explanation by the guide.
Hence in case of day trips, if I/we expect only transfer, I/we sometimes join English guided tours because of saving money.

This tour's participants all were couple except me.
In such a situation, solo traveler feels like running away.
When I went to Vietnam last year, I had an enjoyable time with female group; however, good luck didn't always repeat itself.
K53 asked to join this tour on the eve of our departure, but he didn't do it because of full; hence I was in such a situation.
Tour crew said me, "If he also applied this tour until yesterday, it was no problem to join it."
So if he had joined this tour, I would not have had extra advantages as budget Japanese guided tour because we were English tour member.

We were picked up each accommodations and taken to Cleveland in northern Brisbane.
And then we took a ferry to Dunwich of North Stradbroke Island, which was about 1 hour journey.
In the island we were taken to Brown Lake, Main Beach and Point Lookout.
Tour crew said "Brown Lake is surrounded on all sides by Melaleuca trees (or "Tea Trees"), she gets its name from the high concentrate of tea-tree oil in the lake, giving the water a brown "weak tea" color, thus making it not only a pleasure to swim in, but good for your skin as well."
But we could hardly have a time to swim, right?
During a leisurely walk around Point Lookout headland, I heard we can see dolphins, manta-rays, turtles etc; so from June to November of each year, whale watching is enjoyable.
Without a telephotographic camera, it's difficult to take a clear picture of them.
Should we take a excursion ship for that?

After the barbecue lunch, we enjoyed a spot of fishing or swimming in the crystal clear waters for about 1 hour and half.
So beach equipment (body-boarding and fishing gear) are available from tour crew, we can enjoy more and more.
But if body-boarders cannot come back by the time appointed for assembling due to strong tides, they must take a local bus. ( Stradbroke Island Tourist Information)
I felt a lack of time to stay at the beach, but without sunshades, it might have been a limit to stay under the blaze of noon.

Is foot massage for killing time?

I was taken to Helensvale station of Brisbane's Airtrain by K53's car, and then I went on board a train to airport.
So I came back to Hong Kong by Cathay Pacific flight 102 today.
I really wanted to directly fly to Tokyo or stay in Hong Kong for 2 or 3 days.
But Cathay Pacific flight from Brisbane didn't be connected to Tokyo flights on the same day, and I had no time to stay more in Hong Kong.

I arrived at Evergreen Hotel at past 9 p.m..
So I couldn't exploring here any more, thus I got a massage at ABC Health Foot Centre (address: Shop C2, LGF, Hotel Nikko, 72 Mody Road , Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon), which is a member of QTSA/Quality Tourism Services Association.
Therefore personal computer can be used at Evergreen Hotel for free.
It would be better to check this site before departure.

Christmas campaign in airport?

Since this day was the day of leaving for home, there was nothing to write a diary.
So I only had a breakfast and buy some souvenirs.
If you come here during the period of the event of Christmas, you can also meet such campaign girls, right?
Mr. Ishikawa, a member of the traveling circle "Soreyuke (Let's go) " said "Will you frequently come here?"
I think his prophecy may come true, right?
