How to get there
  • Boats from Kota Kinabalu jetty to the islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park are nonscheduled. They leave the jetty as soon as passengers gather together at least eight but no more than twelve. Returning time is fixed by majority vote of passengers on the same boat. I think you should go to the jetty by around 10 a.m.
  • If you would like to take a scheduled boat, you should go to the Beach Bums Jetty of Shangri-la's Tanjung Aru Resort by taxi. Beachbums Borneo offers regular ferry services.
