This day I went to Five Days Market in Nyaung Shwe.
The market was crowded with the locals, but there were few foreign tourists.
Guide book says Five Days Market has a good opportunity for seeing ethnic
costume-clad minorities.
However, apart from that, I could hardly find a fascinating place; it follows
that the market provides daily necessities and food items for the locals.
For killing time until departure, I went bicycling around the town and
joined canoe tour.
But I could not find a fascinating place, bathing area along the canal.
In such situation I would have flown to Yangon by early afternoon flights.
When I arrived at Heho Airport, around half of several passengers in the
waiting room were Japanese.
Meanwhile there were few Westerner because I wondered they leave for other
destinations by bus.
They think taxi fare to the airport to be expensive, I guessed.
While I waited the flight, one Japanese who left for Mandalay was called
by airport staff and went back to Nyaung Shwe.
He said me that his flight was cancelled; hence, he was obliged to stay
one more night here.
In such situation what did I do?
Many of Myanmar's domestic flights were operated with loop line; for example,
Yangon - Bagan (Nyaung Oo) - Heho - Yangon.
If some accidents happen en route to flight destinations, remaining flights
would be cancelled.
Hence I thought afternoon flights must be great risk.
